Quake World (QW): FTE is able to play and host Quake World servers. Can play most (probably all) mods, TF etc.

Net Quake (NQ): FTE is able to play and host Multiplayer Quake games.

Quake 2 (Q2): FTE can connect to Quake2 servers in theory, the method.. someone else can fill this in, I don't know. :) Also in thoery, FTE can also host Quake2 servers.

Quake (Singleplayer): You can use FTE to play the Quake singleplayer game. • Saving works (I think?) • Loading savegames, results in a crash.

Quake 3 (Q3): Right now, I think FTE is only able to host a dedicated Q3 BSP server. See also [Q3BSP] ^ someone please update this, I don't have a clue!

Hexen 2: Single player is fully playable up to the first boss, until the boss magically transports outside the map. FTE doesn't natively support Hexen 2's HUD. That functionality is meant to be fixed with clientside gamecode
